Historia de la canción

La canción “I want you” constituye el primer single de la cantante en su álbum de estudio “Thalía”. Como resultado, logró convertirse en un éxito sin precedentes en el mercado musical anglosajón, manteniéndose durante varias semanas en los primeros puestos de las listas más relevantes. Por su parte, la versión en español de la misma, llamada “Me pones sexy” tuvo también una gran aceptación en el mercado latinoamericano en general.

El videoclip que ha acompañado el lanzamiento de esta canción fue filmado en el famoso “El Bronx”, de la ciudad de Nueva York, y dirigido por el reconocido director Dave Meyers. Este video logró ganar el premio al “Video del año” en los Premios Lo Nuestro de Latinoamérica.
